Question to Minister Atkins on buffer zones outside abortion clinics

I have long campaigned to ensure that all women are able to access abortion services free of intimidation and harassment.
Ahead of my Demonstrations (Abortion Clinics) Bill coming to the House next month, I will today be meeting with Minister Victoria Atkins about this vital issue. In response to my question this morning, she said:
“We [the Government] are now considering again whether more should be done to protect those accessing or providing abortion services.”
Let’s hope the Government get behind my Bill, so that women can access legal healthcare in confidence and dignity.
