I’m delighted that Matt Hancock has taken heed of my campaign regarding Vitamin D , with multiple news sources reporting the Government will offer a four-month supply of #VitaminD supplements to millions of vulnerable people shielding at home and in care homes. Along with the news of the #Pfizer vaccine, there are reasons to feel optimistic.
However, in the midst of this second lockdown, I am deeply concerned that surgeries and hospital appointments are being cancelled. Patients with non-Covid issues must not be allowed to suffer in silence.
Just now I asked Matt Hancock what the official guidance is, and challenged him to make sure that lives are not needlessly lost.
