Last night, I was proud to present a petition signed by dozens of constituents to the House of Commons regarding the ongoing events in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Though I welcome the most recent ceasefire in the region, I remain clear that the UK Government should be playing a greater diplomatic and humanitarian role in establishing a fair and equitable peace settlement in Nagorno-Karabakh. It cannot allow the growing influence of Russia and Turkey in the region to go unchecked.
The UK needs to step up and play its part in building long-lasting, genuine peace in the region.
