Rupa Huq MP calls for Health Secretary to act on Vitamin D promises

After a constructive meeting with the Health Secretary on the subject of #VitaminD and its use in the fight against #Covid19, the Government has dithered and delayed on its promises.
We were told that Vitamin D consumption would be promoted as part of a public health messaging campaign. It’s since been reported in multiple newspapers that the Government are planning on sending supplies of Vitamin D to millions of vulnerable people.
Yet with winter close upon us, I’ve seen no decisive action taken. Today I called on Matt Hancock to act fast and deliver on his promises.
