Rupa to Minister: Govt must challenge the inequality that holds back BME people at work

Today I challenged the Government to tackle the inequality that holds back Black, Asian and ethnic minority people at work.
It’s unacceptable that BME people are still less likely to be in management posts, and more likely to be unemployed and less well paid.
The time for excuses and delays is over. The Government must do more to end these inequalities by publishing data on Kickstart and implementing the 26 recommendations from the McGregor-Smith review.
