PMQs: Rupa Huq MP challenges Prime Minster Boris Johnson to ditch third runway at Heathrow

If the Prime Minister is serious about the climate emergency, perhaps he could start by ditching the third runway at Heathrow.
At PMQs just now, I challenged him to pull the plug on these environmentally-disastrous proposals and hold another vote on it in the Commons. After all, he did pledge to “[lie] in front of bulldozers” to stop the airport expansion going ahead.
Alas, all we got was bluster. The PM’s maskless snooze at COP26 this week sums up everything about the man: not up to the challenge of the climate emergency, not bothered about the scale of the threat our planet faces. #PMQs
