Today I challenged Rishi Sunak to do more to address the difficulties many of my constituents face when trying to access cash.
Covid has accelerated the closure of bank branches, and now Acton has none. This is causing real difficulties for many people, including the older and more vulnerable, as well as many small and medium-sized businesses, who still depend on cash.
The Government needs to bring forward a serious plan of action for protecting access to cash.
