Rupa Huq MP calls for windfall tax on oil firms to fund VAT cut on home energy bills

Yesterday I voted to cut VAT on home energy bills, paid for by a windfall tax on North Sea Oil and Gas profits.
Families are facing a cost of living crisis, but the Conservatives have more sympathy with oil and gas fat cats.
Yet again, the Government is failing working people.
