Rupa Huq MP delivers speech at GDST rally

I was proud to address a National Education Union rally yesterday in solidarity with GDST teachers, including those from my alma mater Notting Hill and Ealing High School who are striking over over attempts to slash their pensions by at least 20% per year.
Solidarity with the valiant teachers that have performed so many roles this pandemic – mental health workers, emotional counselling, diplomatic service… massive respect to them.
I completely support the aims of this strike.
