Al Jazeera: Rupa Huq MP calls for general election as Boris Johnson resigns as PM

As I’ve just told Al Jazeera English, simply changing the Tory leader won’t be good enough. We’ve already been through 12 years of Tory austerity, low growth, and broken public services – any new Conservative PM will offer more of the same.
We need fundamental change, a fresh start for Britain.
We need a Labour Government.
